There's a "moral imperative" to vote for a clenched-jaw maniac who sings happy-go-lucky jingles like "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran"? Who has no problem with our morally and financially bankrupt empire occupying Iraq for "a hundred years"? This is the pro-life candidate?

If I don't vote, I can't complain? How does that follow? I know plenty of people who don't vote and they complain all the time. Sounds like this "sharp lawyer" is resorting to the argument from authority--and his authority in this case isn't the Magisterium, but a bumper sticker!

Messrs. Woods and Alston are all wet. Not only do they disdain the U.S. Empire's humanitarian bombing campaigns, they just as fatuously embrace Bastiat's broken window chestnut. What cranks!

Bush's problem lies in his failure to go the extra mile to emulate FDR. Yes, Bush's reckless social and bankster welfare spending would do FDR proud, but compared to the moral tonic of World War II, the wars on Iraq and Afghanistan are embarrassingly Mickey Mouse.

Time to unleash the dogs of nuclear war and turn the entire Muslim world into a radioactive parking lot. God will approve. And just think of all the peace and prosperity that will ensue!
